Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in archaeology, anthropology, or closely related field.
• Completion of a field school.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience, with ≥2 years in a Field Director role.
• Permitted for agency permitting statewide in Utah (SOI standards).
• Proficient in documenting archaeological sites statewide in Utah.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate fieldwork.
• NRHP eligibility evaluations.
• Draft deliverables and revisions.
• Coordinate with state and federal agencies.
• Document archaeological sites and IOs/IFs.
• Supervise field directors or principal investigators.
