Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in archaeology, anthropology, or closely related field.
• Completion of a field school.
• Minimum of 4 years professional experience, with 2+ years in a Field Director role.
• Permitted statewide in Utah for agency permitting.
• Proficient in documenting archaeological sites and isolates in Utah.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate fieldwork and deliverables.
• Manage field data collection and prepare reports.
• Coordinate with state and federal agencies.
• Serve as Field Director or Principal Investigator as needed.
