MedCerts is a national online career training school focused on healthcare and IT certifications. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will oversee daily AR functions, ensuring accurate invoicing, processing payments, and leading collections efforts across student revenue channels.

The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, GAAP understanding, and proficiency with NetSuite/Salesforce. Remote work during normal business hours with collaboration across AR team is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in accounts receivable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding GAAP and basic accounting functions.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate data entry, GL coding, and allocation of invoices.
• Submit invoices on external partner portals as required.
• Resolve complex billing issues and discrepancies.
• Monitor and process incoming payments daily.
• Research unidentified payments and process accordingly.
• Lead collections efforts on delinquent accounts.
• Reconcile revenue for assigned channels weekly and at month-end close.
• Provide outstanding customer service on internal and external requests.
• Assist the AR Manager in reducing outstanding receivables.
