Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years in medical billing and collections or claims processing.
• Ability to interpret EOBs and apply CPT/ICD codes.
• Familiarity with UB-4/HCFA 1500 forms and insurance portals.

Responsibilities

• Analyze patient accounts and follow up on denials and balances.
• Review unpaid claims 30 days or more and resolve issues for timely processing.
• Respond to calls and emails promptly with courtesy and accuracy.
• Document accounts accurately while following HIPAA guidelines.
• Meet production and quality goals; perform other duties as assigned.
