Anne Arundel Dermatology is hiring a full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the Revenue Cycle team. This remote role focuses on insurance follow-up, denial resolution, appeals, and collections for open AR.

Ideal candidates have experience with denials, EOBs/remits, and communication with payers to maximize reimbursement. Responsibilities include reviewing claims, resolving denials, and maintaining organized work queues in a remote setting while ensuring compliance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in healthcare accounts receivable or revenue cycle
• Experience resolving insurance denials including eligibility, authorization, and coding-related denials
• Ability to manage a personal work queue meeting productivity and quality expectations
• Familiarity with denial trends and payer-specific billing requirements
• Experience with government and commercial payers; analyze EOBs/remits
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with productivity expectations
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsabilités

• Manage insurance follow-up and collections, including calls and payer websites
• Identify root causes of denials and coordinate with management for process improvements
• Ensure timely communication for issues affecting reimbursement
• Resolve complex inventories with payment research and recoups
• Review accounts to determine next best work activity
• Verify claims adjudication and contact patients as needed
• Edit claims to meet billing compliance for electronic submission
• Maintain work lists, complete reports, and handle high-priority inventories
• Stay updated on changes with payer procedures and laws
• Communicate issues to management and develop solutions
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
