Anne Arundel Dermatology seeks a full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle team. This remote role handles insurance follow-up, denials, appeals, and collections for open AR. Requires experience with denials, EOBs/remits analysis, and payer communications to maximize reimbursement.

The position pays $19-23/hour with a Monday-Friday schedule. Remote but residency must be in PA, MD, VA, NC, TN, GA, or FL; 30+ hours/week fully eligible for benefits and career growth within a

Qualifications

• 3+ years in healthcare accounts receivable or revenue cycle.
• Experience identifying and resolving insurance denials.
• Able to manage a personal work queue with productivity and quality.

Responsibilities

• Handle insurance follow-up and collections via calls and payer portals.
• Identify root causes of denials and coordinate process improvements.
• Ensure timely communication of issues affecting reimbursement to management.
• Res each complex or aged inventory with payment research and documentation.
• Verify claims adjudication and obtain additional information as needed.
• Edit claims to meet billing guidelines for electronic submission.
