Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support high-volume collections and strict process control. You will manage complex AR workflows across multiple entities, reconcile ledgers, and drive timely payments with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities include maintaining data integrity in ERP systems, generating reports, and coordinating with internal teams and external agencies to optimize cash flow.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in accounts receivable, collections, or general accounting roles.
• High-volume collections experience with 40–60 daily contacts.
• Proven independent decision-making for large accounts.
• Ability to manage complex customer structures with multiple sub-accounts.
• Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot tables).
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Workday, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Monitor AR aging reports to ensure timely collections.
• Serve as primary contact for assigned accounts with customers and internal teams.
• Post payments, reconcile ledgers, investigate discrepancies.
• Communicate with customers by phone and email to collect payments.
• Set up and monitor payment plans; coordinate with collections agencies.
• Generate financial and collections reports; assist audits.
