Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner, seeks an Accounts Receivable Resolution Specialist for a fully remote role in the United States. You will manage complex AR cases, investigate denials, and coordinate appeals to accelerate payments with insurers and third‑party payers.

You will collaborate with billing teams, providers, patients, and insurers to resolve payment discrepancies and improve collections in a mission‑driven behavioral health organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or international equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in insurance claims follow-up.
• 2+ years of experience in claims denial management.
• 5+ years of experience in physician and/or healthcare facility business office.
• 1+ year of experience in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on assigned accounts daily to reduce outstanding accounts receivable and accelerate reimbursement.
• Review denied claims, identifying resolution strategies including authorization and precertification.
• Prepare and submit appeal letters and payer documentation through WAYSTAR for unpaid or underpaid claims.
• Prioritize account resolution activities to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Document actions and progress using standardized notes in Avatar and WAYSTAR.
• Meet departmental productivity and performance requirements.
• Communicate issues and recommendations to leadership using SBAR.
