Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an Accounts Receivable Resolution Specialist to oversee complex claims resolution, strengthen collection processes, and support cross-department communication. You will follow up on accounts daily, review denied claims, prepare appeals via WAYSTAR, and document progress in Avatar.

The role requires several years in healthcare billing, strong communication, and a proactive problem-solving approach. This fully remote opportunity accepts candidates in eligible U.S.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in insurance claims follow-up
• 2+ years in claims denial management
• 5+ years in physician/healthcare facility business office
• 1+ year remote work experience
• Strong knowledge of insurance billing, appeals, and reimbursement
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage multiple complex accounts

Responsibilities

• Follow up on assigned accounts daily to reduce AR and accelerate reimbursement
• Review denied claims and determine resolution strategies, including authorization and precertification
• Prepare and submit appeal letters and payer documentation through WAYSTAR
• Prioritize account resolution activities for efficiency
• Document actions using standardized notes in Avatar and WAYSTAR
• Meet productivity and performance requirements
• Communicate issues and recommendations to leadership using SBAR
• Follow reporting lines and participate in AR reduction initiatives
• Troubleshoot technology issues and escalate as needed
• Assist billing teams with incoming mail and correspondence
• Perform additional duties to support department objectives
