Jobgether seeks an Accounts Receivable Resolution Specialist for a fully remote, full-time role in the United States. You will help maintain the financial health of a behavioral healthcare organization by ensuring insurance claims are accurately processed, reimbursed, and resolved, with focus on denials and appeals.

Responsibilities include follow-up on accounts, reviewing denials, preparing appeals in WAYSTAR, and collaborating with billing teams, providers, patients, and insurers to accelerate

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance claims follow-up and denial management.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field is required.
• At least 2 years in insurance claims follow-up and denial management; 5+ years in physician/healthcare facility billing.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on assigned accounts daily to reduce outstanding accounts receivable and accelerate reimbursement.
• Review denied claims promptly and identify resolution strategies including authorization and precertification.
• Prepare and submit appeal letters and payer documentation through WAYSTAR for unpaid or underpaid claims.
• Prioritize account resolution activities to improve efficiency and maximize collection outcomes.
• Document actions and progress using standardized notes in Avatar and WAYSTAR.
• Meet departmental productivity and performance requirements.
• Follow reporting lines and participate in initiatives to reduce outstanding accounts receivable.
• Assist billing teams in responding to incoming mail and other correspondence.
