Job summary

BTS is seeking a remote Accounts Receivable and Contracts Assistant based in the United States. The role supports billing, AR, and contracting operations across clinical and administrative teams, ensuring accuracy and timely reimbursements.

You will handle end-to-end AR processes, payer interactions, and contract development while maintaining compliance and data integrity. Strong organizational skills and experience with billing systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, or healthcare administration.
• Experience in an ABA or behavioral health setting preferred.
• Proficient in Excel (formulas, pivots, data analysis) and billing systems/EHRs.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage daily, weekly, and monthly billing and AR operations.
• Oversee full-cycle billing for all payers.
• Review AR, follow up on balances, and update tracking sheets.
• Analyze denials, rejections, and underpayments; perform charge validation and corrections.
• Prepare AR, revenue, and payer performance reports for leadership.
