Harmonic Finance Inc ™ | Certified B Corp seeks a hands-on Manager, AR Accounting to own end-to-end Accounts Receivable in a high-growth, omni-channel CPG environment. You’ll lead cash collection, invoicing, reconciliations, and system controls while partnering with Sales, Ops, and Finance to scale processes.

Fully remote in the United States, this role emphasizes leadership of a small team, process automation, and GAAP compliance (ASC 606).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business.
• 6+ years AR/accounting experience.
• 3+ years of people leadership.
• Strong ASC 606 knowledge and month-end close.
• Advanced Excel (Pivot, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP).
• Excellent cross-functional communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Accounts Receivable operations including invoicing, collections, cash application, and deductions.
• Manage onboarding, credit reviews, limits, and delinquent account escalations.
• Maintain customer master data and data governance standards.
• Oversee Shopify, Celigo, SPS, SupplyPike, and Vividly Trade+Cash application tools.
• Lead AR month-end close with journal entries and variance analysis.
• Support revenue recognition, trade spend, accruals, and cut-off testing.
• Prepare AR performance metrics: DSO, aging, collections effectiveness.
• Partner with Sales, IT, Accounting, and Finance to improve reporting and cash flow.
• Maintain audit-ready support for AR balances and reconciliations.
• Drive process improvements through automation and SOPs.
• Coach and develop AR team members; foster accountability and collaboration.
