Job summary

EmployHQ seeks an Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee invoicing, cash application, collections, deductions, and factoring relationships. You will manage AR processes, ensure accurate records, and drive improvements across the AR function.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in AR, strong leadership, and experience with factoring and high-volume receivables from national retailers or e-commerce. This on-site role offers strategic impact and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or substantial directly related experience may be considered in place of a degree.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive accounts receivable, credit, collections, and cash-application experience.
• At least 3 years of experience leading an AR team.
• Direct experience with commercial factoring and related activities preferred.
• Experience with national retailers, wholesale, or e-commerce accounts is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all accounts receivable functions including invoicing, cash application, and collections.
• Monitor AR aging and establish collection priorities based on risk and history.
• Manage escalated, delinquent, or high-risk customer accounts.
• Reconcile AR subledger to the general ledger and support monthly/quarterly/year-end closes.
• Develop AR performance metrics and reporting for management and the factor.
• Coordinate with Sales, Finance and Operations to optimize cash flow and reduce DSO.
• Oversee deductions and chargebacks processes, and respond to disputes with customers.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to AR team members.
