Ladder is seeking a SecOps/AppSec Engineer for a remote role based in one of 23 states. You’ll own application security vulnerability management within development lifecycles, with strong Clojure focus and code-level fixes in a JVM stack.

You will also monitor cloud security, conduct risk reviews, support audits, and help secure day-to-day workspace tooling while mentoring engineers in secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering and/or cybersecurity experience.
• Hands-on coding in Clojure and JVM environment with backend collaboration.
• Experience securing modern cloud infrastructure and incident response.

Responsabilités

• Secure the Code: champion application security vulnerability management with dev teams.
• Security Ops: monitor and respond using SIEM, SOAR, CSP, CNAPP tools.
• Governance & Risk: perform security reviews and risk assessments with vendors.
• Maintain corporate workspace security including IAM and device compliance.
• Mentor engineers on secure coding practices and secure defaults.
