Job summary

Ladder is seeking a SecOps/AppSec Engineer to own application security throughout the development lifecycle. The role emphasizes hands-on code review in Clojure and active risk management within a JVM ecosystem.

You will monitor cloud security posture, respond to incidents, and support compliance audits while mentoring teams on secure coding practices in a fast-paced remote environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering and/or cybersecurity experience.
• Hands-on experience coding in Clojure and JVM familiarity.
• Hands-on cloud security and incident response experience.

Responsibilities

• Secure the Code: champion application security vulnerability management with development teams.
• Security Ops: monitor cloud security posture using SIEM/SOAR/CSP/CNAPP tools.
• Governance & Risk: conduct security reviews and risk assessments for internal architecture and APIs.
• Maintain workspace security: IAM, device compliance, productivity tools security.
