Job summary
Accuity is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to design, prototype, and deploy production AI-powered applications that enhance clinical documentation and revenue cycle workflows. The role partners with AI Engineering, Data Science, Product, Design, and software teams to deliver reliable, user-friendly tools used by clinicians, coders, and operations staff.
The engineer is responsible for the application layer, including UX, service integration, prompt design, safeguards, testing, and production
Qualifications
- Three+ years of software or AI application engineering experience.
- Experience building user-facing AI-enabled features.
- Experience integrating AI services via APIs.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering and evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain AI-powered applications and tools.
- Design prompts, examples, and interaction patterns for target use cases.
- Evaluate content quality, relevance, and reliability of AI outputs.
- Own AI features from design to production, including testing and deployment.
- Evaluate third-party AI products and decide build/buy/integrate.
- Maintain security, compliance, and auditability of AI-enabled apps.
