Job summary

Wondr Health is hiring an Applied AI Engineer to build and evolve our agent platform, enabling memory, tool use, orchestration, and multi-agent workflows. The role emphasizes production systems, safety, and observability while reducing developer toil through automation.

You will work across engineering teams to ship reliable AI-powered experiences for weight loss support, focusing on real-world challenges like memory management, evals, and cost/latency trade-offs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of solid backend engineering experience in a production environment.
• Experience shipping production LLM/agent systems and handling real-world challenges.
• Proficiency with Python or a similar language and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production-grade LLM agent systems using AWS Bedrock and LangChain.
• Build core agent capabilities: tool use, memory, orchestration, and human-in-the-loop flows.
• Implement safety, escalation routing, and observability across AI workflows.
• Collaborate on design docs and architecture decisions for agent platforms.
