Job summary

Assembled is seeking a forward-thinking product-minded engineer to join the Workforce Operations team, building AI agents that automate real-time workforce management. You’ll own problems from understanding existing decision processes to delivering data models and user experiences relied on by customers every day.

Representative projects include building an AI agent that monitors support volume, staffing, and performance, and providing the agent with context from policies and the WFM platform.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience building software products.
• Experience shipping products end-to-end and explaining product/technical tradeoffs.
• Ability to operate across the stack and tolerate ambiguity.
• Strong product judgment and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own problems end-to-end: from understanding decision processes to data models and polished product experiences.
• Build AI agents for real-time workforce management to monitor volume, staffing, and performance.
• Provide agents with context via live data, policies, and the WFM platform capabilities.
• Design the control and observability layer for autonomous operations at scale.
