Welltower is a global leader in wellness-focused and healthcare real estate, seeking an AI Engineer, Product to own the product surface that brings AI capabilities to business users. You will own agent-driven tools and interfaces end-to-end, working directly with users on real data and iterating quickly against live feedback.

The role emphasizes product and agent behavior, not just front-end work, and requires building with real data in a rapidly evolving environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
6+ years shipping production software with end-to-end ownership of a product surface.
Experience deploying an agent in a commercial production environment.
Experience building data-dense, decision-support, or analytics products where users act on the output.

Responsibilities

Build and ship the product surface: agent-driven tools, interfaces, and workflow tooling used by teams.
Design, tune, and evaluate agent behavior to ensure output is trustworthy for users.
Work embedded with users, translating how they work into working software on real data.
Deliver a live, useful output quickly and iterate against feedback.
Create configurable, reusable surfaces to accelerate future builds.
Use a live data demo as the spec rather than lengthy requirements documents.
