Job summary

WCG Clinical, Inc. is seeking an Applications Support Manager to lead design, development, and support of web applications. The role requires strong SDLC experience and collaboration with clients to resolve issues and plan deployments.

Remote work is available for residents within the continental United States. A Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field and 5+ years in software development are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 5 years of progressively responsible software development experience.
• ≥3 years in SDLC, web app design, development, implementation, and troubleshooting using Java, PL/SQL, JSP, JBOSS, Apache, and Oracle in clinical research applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop web applications.
• Provide technical and application support, including implementation and troubleshooting.
• Lead teams in analyzing issues related to WCG’s software applications.
• Develop software applications and customized modules of WCG’s software applications.
• Act as a technical liaison with the client.
• Investigate reported issues and bugs, and report findings to the product development team.
• Plan and schedule deployment processes to meet project timelines.
• Provide technical guidance related to WCG’s software applications.
