Job summary

The CBE Group, Inc. in Cedar Falls, IA seeks an experienced Manager, Application Development to lead a team of software developers through the SDLC.

You will plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to building, maintaining, supporting, and upgrading applications while aligning IT work with business priorities. You will guide staff, manage project timelines, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in MIS, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of five years management experience leading a software development or software support team.
• US Citizenship is required to obtain government clearance.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with Azure DevOps preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the selection, development, and management of the Application Development team.
• Provide project timelines detailing development work to meet software development schedules.
• Deliver projects to meet business requirements based on internal or external development teams.
• Manage expectations of development and business organizations.
• Communicate with all stakeholders.
• Assist in hiring, terminations, promotions, and other personnel actions.
