Job summary

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is seeking an Applications Engineer to support customers and partners across the Americas Wood business. This role provides application expertise, training, integration, consulting, and technical support for production software solutions used in woodworking and related manufacturing environments.

The Applications Engineer works closely with customers and internal teams to understand requirements, resolve technical challenges, and help customers apply software

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years in applications engineering, technical support or similar field with CNC integration or manufacturing tech.
• Experience troubleshooting software, workflows, and providing follow-up solutions to customers.
• Experience delivering customer-facing technical training, demonstrations, or consulting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver online, on-site, and regional product training across levels of use.
• Perform on-site software and CNC integration, including configuration, testing, and handover.
• Consult with customers to understand requirements, recommend workflows, and support adoption.
• Provide application support to customers and partners, resolving technical issues and follow-ups.
• Develop customer-specific programming, reports, and CNC configurations as required.
• Document procedures, configurations, and best practices for repeatable service delivery.
