Job summary

Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions seeks a CNC Application Engineer (Remote) for a Chicago-area manufacturer of industrial cutting machinery. The role requires a minimum of 5 years in manufacturing and familiarity with CNC machinery; metal-cutting knowledge is a plus.

This is a full-time, direct-hire position with comprehensive benefits package. The engineer will identify new business opportunities, support customers with product issues, work with sales and engineering on planning and demand,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred, or equivalent mix of education and experience.
Minimum 5 years of sales and account management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with industrial cutting machinery strongly preferred.
Excellent ability to communicate and collaborate in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

Identify new business development opportunities and establish relationships with potential customers within assigned sales territory.
Act as point of contact for customers regarding product issues, quality assurance, technical support, and other questions.
Collaborate with sales and engineering teams on planning, design, customer requests, market analysis, and demand.
Prepare and deliver product proposals to customers.
Create price quotations and negotiate price/costs with customers.
