Job summary
Grundfos is seeking an Applications Engineer to provide expert guidance on product selection, system design, and optimization for high-purity water solutions. You will work with Sales to meet customer needs and deliver technical and commercial turnover packages.
A Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5+ years in applications engineering are expected. This is a remote role with competitive salary and benefits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering required.
- 5+ years in applications engineering or related field.
- Experience with high-purity water treatment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate inquiries to define technical and commercial scope.
- Develop conceptual designs and preliminary calculations for sizing.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and identify value-engineering options.
- Research equipment options based on technical suitability and pricing.
- Propose practical, technically sound solutions for challenges.
- Partner with Sales to align technical and commercial strategy.
- Participate in customer meetings for technical support.
- Maintain costing data to support estimating libraries.
- Obtain supplier quotes and coordinate with Purchasing.
- Review purchase orders for scope and budget alignment.
- Deliver technical/commercial turnover packages to teams.
- Lead technical review and turnover meetings.
