Job summary

Grundfos is seeking an Applications Engineer to provide expert technical guidance on product selection, system design, and application optimization for high-purity water solutions.

You will evaluate customer requirements, develop conceptual designs, and support estimating and purchasing to ensure efficient, reliable, and cost-effective Grundfos solutions. Strong communication with Sales and cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in high-purity water treatment and system design.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate inquiries, specifications, and operating requirements to define technical scope.
• Develop conceptual designs and perform sizing calculations for equipment selection.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and identify value-engineered options.
• Research equipment options based on technical suitability, availability, lead times, and pricing.
• Collaborate with Sales to align technical and commercial strategies with customer needs.
• Lead technical reviews and turnover meetings with Project Management, Engineering, and Manufacturing.
