Job summary

Grundfos is seeking an Applications Engineer to provide expert guidance on product selection, system design, and application optimization for high-purity water solutions. You will bridge customer needs with Grundfos technology and collaborate with Sales and Project teams to deliver technically sound, cost-effective outcomes.

You will engage in pre‑bid discussions, bids, and technical clarification meetings, leveraging your background in mechanical or chemical engineering and strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 5+ years of applications engineering, technical sales support, or system design.
• Strong understanding of high-purity water treatment processes and related hydraulics.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use sizing tools.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate inquiries to define technical and commercial scope for high-purity water solutions.
• Develop conceptual designs and perform preliminary calculations for sizing and estimating.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and identify value‑engineered options.
• Research equipment options based on technical fit, lead times, and pricing.
• Collaborate with Sales to align technical and commercial strategy with customers.
• Participate in customer meetings to provide technical support alongside Sales.
• Lead turnover meetings and ensure scope alignment with downstream teams.
