Grundfos is seeking an Applications Engineer to provide expert guidance on product selection, system design, and application optimization for high-purity water solutions. You will bridge customer requirements with Grundfos technology and partner with Sales to align technical and commercial strategies.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical or chemical engineering background, 5+ years in applications engineering or system design, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
5+ years of experience in applications engineering or system design.
Strong understanding of high-purity water treatment processes and sanitary design.

Responsibilities

Evaluate inquiries to define scope of proposed high-purity water solutions.
Develop conceptual designs and preliminary engineering calculations.
Prepare cost estimates and identify value-engineered options.
Coordinate with Purchasing for material costs and lead times.
Lead technical reviews and turnover meetings with downstream teams.
