Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer / BAS Programmer to design, deploy, and optimize building automation and control systems for commercial and industrial facilities. You will develop BAS software, integrate with field equipment, and provide remote and on-site support to ensure high performance operations.

You will collaborate with engineering, project management, and field teams to translate mechanical designs into robust BAS platforms, improving reliability and efficiency

Qualifications

• Experience programming and commissioning BAS/DDC systems in commercial or industrial environments.
• Familiarity with Delta Controls, Niagara, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Automated Logic, Distech or similar systems.
• Strong understanding of HVAC equipment and mechanical system operation.
• Reading control drawings, wiring diagrams, and sequences of operation is required.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot in live building environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and commission BAS/DDC control programs for HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Create controller logic, graphics, alarms, schedules, trends, and user interfaces.
• Configure BAS networks and integrations using BACnet, Modbus, and other open protocols.
• Support startup, commissioning, and testing activities both remotely and onsite.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, installers, and service teams during project execution.
