First Merchants Bank is seeking an Applications Analyst to join our team. This role ensures assigned applications work reliably, stay current with vendor release levels, and are supported daily, with the option to work remotely within our footprint.

You will provide application support, administer security, maintain disaster recovery plans, coordinate changes, and assist in project planning while collaborating with management to implement best practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• A minimum of one year of information technology or banking experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support for the assigned application(s), including maintenance, troubleshooting, supporting, and ensuring release levels are current.
• Administer and monitor application-level security (add and delete users, etc.) including password reset processes.
• Maintain disaster recovery plans and models.
• Ensure all application changes follow a standard process and gain approvals where needed.
• Ensure the system operates at high efficiency and document improvement recommendations.
• Coordinate application upgrades and plan independently with other departments.
