Job summary

Groundswell is seeking an experienced Appian Test Engineering Lead to support the development of web-based applications, with a focus on automation testing. You will lead QA strategy, design test environments, and mentor the testing team in a fast-paced, hybrid work setting.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of software testing experience, 2+ years of automation, and hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium. This role requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
• 5+ years of software testing experience.
• 2+ years of automation testing experience.
• Experience leading a team and mentoring junior members.
• Experience interpreting requirements, writing QA documentation and UAT/test plans.
• Proficiency with Playwright and Selenium; knowledge of test management tools.
• U.S. citizen; ability to obtain government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Define QA program and test strategy for the project.
• Lead design of test environments and test data.
• Mentor and manage testing team members and performance.
• Plan, execute, and report on testing activities.
• Review and refine test documentation and reports.
• Develop test plans and procedures from requirements.
• Coordinate with remote/hybrid teams and manage issues.
