Job summary

Maximus is seeking a skilled Appian Developer with 3+ years of hands-on Appian development (v17.x or higher) and strong SQL skills to design, build, and deliver enterprise-grade applications. This remote role requires U.S.

citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. You will develop complex apps using Appian components (SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, Web APIs), design secure REST integrations, perform data modeling, and collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments, with

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship is required due to Federal contract.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of professional experience.
3+ years of hands-on Appian development experience (v17.x or higher).
Proficiency in SQL, Relational Databases.

Responsibilities

Develop and configure complex enterprise applications using Appian components (SAIL, Process Models, Records, Reports, Web APIs).
Design and implement secure integrations using RESTful APIs and authentication patterns.
Perform SQL data modeling and database design.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Appian applications for performance.
Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
AI & Automation: familiarity with AI technologies, AI/ML/LLM integration, and Appian AI.
