Job summary

Supabase is a Postgres development platform built for developers. We design and maintain internal and public APIs across Studio, CLI, management APIs, and OAuth applications. This role focuses on robust API design, scalability, and security within a fully remote team.

You will collaborate across DevOps and Frontend teams to deliver reliable API experiences, improve testing and monitoring, and contribute to a fast, open-source style development workflow.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in backend API development.
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript (Node.js) expertise.
• Experience with OAuth, JWT, and API security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain internal and public APIs used across Supabase products.
• Integrate with third-party platforms and partners via API connections.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Frontend, and other teams to ensure smooth integration.
• Build and enhance testing, debugging, and monitoring tools for API performance.
• Work with the dev-workflows team to enhance the Branching experience.
