Job summary

Ensemble Performing Arts is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead the AP function across all entities. This remote, full-time role requires coaching a team, ensuring invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time, and driving process improvements in NetSuite.

You will oversee the AP team, manage vendor inquiries, and contribute to month-end close and internal controls. The position offers growth within a fast-paced arts organization and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Accounts Payable experience, including at least 1 year in a lead, senior, or supervisory capacity.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and expense management tools (e.g., Ramp).
• Solid understanding of AP controls, including vendor master maintenance, 1099 compliance, and payment approval workflows.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Clear, professional communication skills for vendor-facing and cross-departmental interactions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise AP team and workload across the organization.
• Oversee entry of invoices in NetSuite and processing of payments.
• Review and approve invoice coding and payment batches.
• Manage the AP email queue and vendor inquiries.
• Support month-end close activities and AP-related journal entries.
