Job summary

Addus Homecare is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to handle vendor maintenance, expense report auditing, and corporate card administration. The role also supports travel and medical claims processes, with a focus on accuracy and timely processing.

The position is primarily remote (4 days/week) with in-office on Tuesdays, offering benefits like medical/dental/vision, PTO, retirement planning, and life insurance. A strong eye for detail and solid communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; some college accounting courses preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in vendor maintenance and 1099 reporting.
• Minimum of 2 years in expense report auditing and processing.
• Cloud-based AP system experience (Oracle preferred).
• Travel & Expense system experience (Concur Travel & Expense preferred).
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail, ensure accuracy and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor additions and changes in the accounts payable system.
• Identify 1099 reporting requirements for vendors.
• Verify Form W-9 and perform TIN/OIG/SAM verifications.
• Process high volumes of electronic expense reports.
• Audit expense reimbursements per policy.
• Verify supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Administer corporate credit cards and delinquency reporting.
• Support AP Lead with travel administration and related tasks.
• Communicate with employees to resolve issues.
• Assist with medical claims routing and price validation.
