Job summary

ABC Legal Service is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support the accounting team with vendor records and timely payments. This position is remote but must be located in Florida, Indiana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Virginia.

Key requirements include an Associate’s degree or higher, 3–6 months in AP, proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel, and strong communication and data-entry skills. Part-time EST role with paid hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in business or accounting preferred.
• 3–6 months in an accounts payable role preferred.
• Experience with QuickBooks and Excel required.
• Strong attention to detail and data-entry speed.
• Excellent communication skills for internal inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Assist the accounts payable workflow using NetSuite and other programs.
• Maintain vendor records for independent contractors, including W-9s.
• Interface with the vendor support team to manage vendor relationships.
• Ensure bills are paid timely and accurately per procedures.
• Trace transactions with bank and reconcile general ledger accounts.
