Job summary

ABC Legal Service, a national leader in filing service of legal documents, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support the accounting team. This remote role requires residency in Florida and focuses on timely payments, vendor records, and responsive inquiry handling from contractors and departments.

Responsibilities include processing in NetSuite, maintaining vendor records (W-9s), liaising with the vendor support team, ensuring bills are paid accurately, and reconciling general ledger

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in business- or accounting-related field.
• 3–6 months in an accounts payable role.
• Experience with QuickBooks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with MS Office and PDF editors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the accounts payable workflow using NetSuite and other programs.
• Maintain vendor records for independent contractors, including W-9s.
• Interface with the vendor support team to maintain relationships with new and existing vendors.
• Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
• Tracing transactions with our bank and performing accounting duties such as recording journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts.
