About Emplicit:
Emplicit is a full-service marketplace agency that manages marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, Target and TikTok Shop on behalf of ambitious brands. We handle everything from marketing and content creation to logistics and 24/7 customer service.

Overview:
Reporting to our Director of Marketing, the paid media specialist is a client-facing role overseeing campaigns with a high degree of autonomy. The ideal candidate will build strategies and manage media across various digital marketing channels, tracking responses and reporting success to clients. You must be a professional marketer who is smart, organized, creative, dynamic, and bursting with ideas to test out.

Responsibilities:

  1. Create and manage Amazon campaigns (Amazon-owned channels on and off amazon.com, including all sponsored ads types, display ads, OTT, Amazon Affiliates, etc.) and utilize different marketing levers to drive overall growth for our partners.
  2. Manage media spend across accounts to ensure working within approved budgets and/or ROI parameters – main KPIs are:
    1. ACoS and TACoS.
    2. Overall brand growth relative to ad sales.
    3. Keep spend at monthly budgets.
    4. Utilization – appropriate billable time logged on brand’s accounts.
  3. Troubleshoot marketing-related Amazon issues as they arise.
  4. Provide in-depth ad hoc analysis and end-of-month reporting.
  5. Research competitive landscape and keywords, providing actionable strategic recommendations for client marketing plans.
  6. Partner with the content team on campaigns requiring designs and copywriting.
  7. Work closely with the Account Manager to ensure work is delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements:

  1. Fluent in English
  2. 3-5+ years’ experience in all Amazon ad types and bid models.
  3. Certified in Amazon Ads.
  4. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  5. Able to set up and manage multiple ad campaigns simultaneously – experience with bid management tools a plus.
  6. Ability to effectively communicate trends from advertising data to non-advertising teams.
  7. Capable of interfacing with remote teams to coordinate projects and tasks.
  8. Think outside the box to solve problems.
  9. Data-driven, proficient in using tech tools to optimize work.
  10. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  11. Experience in a fast-paced agency environment with multiple client accounts.
  12. Ability to remain energetic, responsive, and enthusiastic in a remote work environment.
  13. Strong interpersonal skills with experience collaborating with remote team members.
