Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a strong back-end focus (Java and/or NodeJS).
• Proven experience building back-end services that serve structured data to front-end apps.
• Hands-on Angular experience and RESTful API integration.
• Cloud experience on AWS and API Gateway/Lambda.
• Strong Git/GitHub workflows and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with JUnit/Jest testing.

Responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application processing healthcare EDI transactions.
• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to transform and serve EDI records.
• Integrate with internal platform APIs, EDI pipelines, and data services for live and historical data.
• Support and contribute to an Angular-based dashboard front-end and API consumption.
• Collaborate with back-end C#/.Net and AWS data engineers to define API contracts and data delivery.
• Write clean, testable, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
• Perform unit and integration testing for back-end services and API layers.
• Assist deployment, monitoring, and performance of back-end services on AWS.
• Promote best software engineering practices within an Agile environment.
• Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
