Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking an experienced Angular/NodeJS Developer for a 100% remote U.S.-based role in the Veterans Affairs department. The position requires strong backend in Java/NodeJS, Angular frontend work, and experience with healthcare data and EDI processing. U.S.

citizenship and Public Trust clearance are noted requirements. Responsibilities include building and migrating a cloud-based dashboard, API design and integration, deployment on AWS, and collaborative DevOps

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with strong back-end focus.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments.
• Hands-on Angular experience and API integration.
• Experience with Java and/or NodeJS back-end integration and front-end UI.

Responsibilities

• Build, support, and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard application that processes healthcare EDI transactions.
• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs in Java and/or NodeJS to retrieve and transform EDI healthcare data.
• Integrate with internal platform APIs and data services for live data delivery.
• Support and contribute to an Angular-based dashboard front-end and ensure data accuracy for users.
