Salmon, a Southeast Asia fintech, is hiring an Android developer to build end-to-end features in Kotlin for a distributed team. You will work closely with product, design, and backend to ship reliable, user-facing functionalities while adhering to modern app architecture.

You’ll own feature development, API integration with OkHttp, code reviews, and debugging to ensure high-quality releases across a globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with modern app architecture (MVI + Clean) and dependency injection (Dagger).
• Solid experience integrating RESTful APIs (OkHttp) and working with coroutines and Kotlin Flow.
• Practical experience writing Unit/Integration tests (Mockito, JUnit).
• Comfortable with Git-based workflows and structured release cycles (GitLab).

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement features from scratch with high-quality, maintainable code.
• Integrate RESTful APIs into the Android app using OkHttp.
• Review code, refactor for quality, and assist with testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues surfaced by users or testing.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure test coverage and release quality.
