Hidden Jobs is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to lead the development of native Android experiences for fintech products. You will design, build, and ship Kotlin-based apps, collaborating with product, design, and backend teams to deliver fast, reliable features.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including 5+ years focused on Android.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and modern Android development, including scalable UI and architecture.
• Experience designing, building, and shipping high-quality, scalable Android applications.
• Solid experience with MVVM or MVC and integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives end-to-end and mentor engineers through code reviews.
• Experience with unit, UI, and TDD practices, Git workflows, and working in high-growth environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering to deliver high-quality Android experiences.
• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin with focus on performance and usability.
• Architect and implement robust, maintainable solutions aligned with long-term product goals.
• Participate in feature planning, technical design, and effort estimation.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex product and performance issues; maintain code quality via testing and reviews.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines and development workflows; mentor junior engineers.
