Job summary

Aquent, partnering with a leading financial services organization, seeks an experienced Android developer to join a collaborative team building enterprise-scale mobile apps. You will design, implement, test, and deploy features using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, and REST APIs to shape user experiences and business outcomes.

In this fast-paced, agile environment, you will mentor engineers, participate in architectural discussions, and help raise engineering standards across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 7+ years of native Android development experience shipping production apps.
• Strong experience with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, Gradle, REST APIs, and modern architecture patterns.
• Proven design, implementation, testing, release, and support of enterprise Android features.
• Experience in Agile delivery teams with sprint planning, estimation, and release planning.
• Excellent ability to articulate technical decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Design, implement, test, release, and support production Android features for an enterprise-scale application.
• Collaborate within Agile delivery teams, participating in sprint planning, estimation, and release planning.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear explanations for diverse stakeholders.
