Job summary

Salmon Group is hiring an Android Developer (Kotlin) to build and enhance our fintech Android app. You will implement features with a focus on high-quality code and collaborate with designers, PMs, and backend engineers to deliver user-facing capabilities.

The role requires strong Kotlin and Android SDK knowledge, Jetpack Compose, and experience with RESTful APIs, DI (Dagger), and testing. Remote or hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Android development with Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and Jetpack Compose.
• Understanding of modern app architecture: MVI + Clean.
• Experience with dependency injection (Dagger).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and OkHttp.
• Proficient in Kotlin coroutines and Flow.
• Experience writing unit/integration tests (Mockito, JUnit).
• Git-based workflows (GitLab).
• Experience with analytics/monitoring tools (Amplitude, Firebase, Splunk).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement features from scratch with high-quality code.
• Collaborate with designers, PMs, and backend engineers to define UI features.
• Integrate RESTful APIs into the Android app.
• Conduct code reviews and refactor to maintain quality.
• Troubleshoot user-reported issues and testing findings.
• Coordinate with QA to ensure proper testing and quality Assurance.
