Job summary

Confluence Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist - Analytics in a remote US role. You will partner with clients to present analytics portfolios, lead pre‑sales activities, and demonstrate value to multiple stakeholder levels from business users to CIOs.

The role requires 5+ years in pre‑sales of software solutions within financial services, leveraging Salesforce to manage the sales process and collaborate with product teams on market needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited University or equivalent industry experience (Financial Mathematics, Computational Science or Financial Engineering)
• 5+ years of pre‑sales experience, including experience of software solutions
• Experience working in the performance, attribution and risk segments of the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical expert for Confluence portfolio of products and services.
• Working with Enterprise Sales Directors, you will contribute to the project strategy from identification, through proof of concept, to close.
• In parallel to directly working in sales opportunities, you will help push the sales team’s level of expertise forward through regular product feature and benefit training.
• Leveraging Salesforce.com to capture insights, notes, and context from meetings to drive forecasting and pipeline management.
• Staying current on industry trends and client needs to educate them about Confluence solutions and services.
• Act as trusted advisor to prospects and clients.
• Partner with internal product teams to share market intelligence and drive product enhancements.
• Represent Confluence at Industry events.
