Job summary

Salesforce Solution Engineering is seeking an Analytics Specialist Solution Engineer (Tableau) to support our CBS vertical. You will lead analytics-driven demos, translate business needs into technical solutions, and partner with account and analytics sales to drive value for top customers.

The role requires hands-on Tableau/CRM Analytics experience, strong communication, and ability to work remotely or hybrid with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• B.S. in CS, SWE, MIS, Data Science or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on Tableau, CRM Analytics or Tableau Next; familiarity with data visualization, dashboards and self-service analytics.
• Knowledge of relational databases and web technologies.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication; able to collaborate across teams.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Play a pivotal role in aligning innovative Analytics solutions to CBS accounts, partnering with clients and internal teams to drive multi-product solutions.
• Handle business development, operations strategy, and product demonstrations as a trusted adviser.
• Define ambiguous business problems through research, drive ideas, and recommend practical next steps.
• Evaluate solutions and drive stakeholder consensus; help build decision frameworks delivering ongoing value.
• Demonstrate connected, data-driven experiences through software demos and rapid prototyping with Salesforce and Tableau.
• Build customized solutions and demos for multiple personas showing how platforms accelerate strategy and value.
• Understand customer data and analytics architecture as it relates to Salesforce and Tableau.
• Participate in product, sales, and training to maintain knowledge needed for effectiveness.
