Job summary

Virtasant is seeking an Intermediate Analytics Developer to join a global AI-powered SaaS platform project. You will deliver proactive insights and data products, including user-facing reports, by partnering with product teams and leveraging BigQuery, Python, and AI agents.

You will build data models and pipelines, ensure scalable reporting, and contribute to automation efforts while collaborating across cross-functional teams in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• Based in a Latin American country (Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic or Mexico).
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
• Strong SQL skills with hands-on BigQuery experience.
• Python for data tasks such as scripting, data engineering, or pipeline work.
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools and LLMs for use cases like code generation or data cleaning.
• Working knowledge of data warehousing concepts and analytics.
• Solid knowledge of ERDs and data relationships.
• Solid foundation in statistics (e.g., t-tests, linear regression).
• Ability to communicate clearly about data topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong product and business sense; understand data-to-customer value.
• Experience with BigQuery Analytics Hub is a plus; Java is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain user-facing reports that help clients understand workforce insights.
• Develop and maintain data models and pipelines in Google BigQuery with partitioning and clustering.
• Apply statistical techniques to provide meaningful insights for data-informed decisions.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, designers, and UX researchers on analyses and ad-hoc requests.
• Review data schemas for new features to ensure future analytics compatibility.
• Provide constructive feedback on PR reviews to ensure quality code delivery.
• Troubleshoot analytics stack issues from ingestion to semantic layer to identify root causes.
• Work with AI agent tools within data applications to automate workloads and surface insights.
• Contribute to the Data team's knowledge base and stay updated on best practices.
