Job summary

Vizient, Inc. seeks an AVP, Healthcare Data and AI to lead analytics development and the ongoing evolution of a scalable healthcare insights platform. You will craft data models, benchmarking methods, and AI-enabled capabilities to empower consultants with actionable insights.

You will collaborate with clinical SMEs and tech teams to translate business needs into robust analytical solutions, guiding data strategy and access across practices while advancing the Insight Engine.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive data science and analytics experience.
• Experience with large healthcare data models and analytics preferred.
• Consulting background preferred.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; cloud data platforms advantageous.
• Ability to translate business needs into analytical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.
• Self-directed, entrepreneurial mindset with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy analytical models and AI-enabled capabilities for healthcare insights.
• Contribute to a cohesive data strategy and data access governance.
• Translate business requirements into scalable analytical solutions.
• Organize and manage large, complex healthcare datasets for accuracy.
• Collaborate with technology teams to build scalable tools and infrastructure.
