Job summary

Vanta is hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer to build the analytics backbone, partnering with data science and business teams to meet current and future needs. You will design data models, write scalable SQL for large warehouses, and enable AI tooling with semantic layers across the company.

You will help develop data infrastructure, expose analytics to enterprise apps, and align reporting with product and engineering.

Qualifications

• Have at least eight years of experience working with data.
• Have two years of experience in Software Engineering or a related field.
• Bring a system-oriented and software engineering mindset to Analytics Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex data models for dashboards and analytics.
• Write highly tuned, scalable SQL queries over large data warehouses.
• Enable AI tooling with semantic layers and observability for analytics.
• Manage and improve data infrastructure to support data-driven decision making.
• Help develop front end applications to expose analytical data sets enterprise wide.
• Collaborate with Product and Corporate Engineering teams to structure source systems for reporting.
