Job summary

VIA is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to turn raw data into clear narratives guiding customer decisions. You’ll work on data products with AI integration, build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, and collaborate across engineering and client delivery teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a data-driven role or equivalent, owning data initiatives end to end
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in science, mathematics, engineering, or a data-driven field
• Proficiency in Python, R, or equivalent programming language
• Ability to translate complex data findings into clear, compelling narratives
• Experience with Generative AI tools (e.g. AWS Bedrock, LangChain) and testing frameworks (e.g., pytest) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Understand the data and the domain: translate domain knowledge into data infrastructure requirements, validate assumptions, and resolve data-related issues
• Build AI-powered data products: deliver data-based products, including interactive data analysis, quality reports, and visualizations that tell clear stories
• Oversee data pipelines: design, quality, and reliability of ETL/ELT pipelines; coordinate with stakeholders; run QC and document decisions
• Improve the platform: contribute to internal tools for data cleaning, modeling, analytics, and data quality assessment
