Job summary

Tenstorrent is seeking an experienced analog/mixed-signal IC layout engineer to drive full-custom layouts for high-speed blocks in advanced FinFET processes. The role emphasizes designing PLLs, VCOs, ADCs, DACs, LDOs, and clock generators with strong attention to EM/IR and DFM compliance.

You will own complex blocks from schematic to manufacturable layouts, collaborating with circuit designers and leveraging tools like Synopsys Custom Compiler and Cadence Virtuoso.

Qualifications

• Experienced analog/mixed-signal IC layout engineer focused on high-speed blocks such as PLLs, VCOs, ADCs, DACs, LDOs, and comparators.
• Strong background in full-custom layout and layout verification to meet performance, power, area, and reliability targets.
• Experience with FinFET CMOS nodes (12nm–2nm) and EM/IR concerns in mixed-signal layouts.
• Ability to own complex blocks independently and collaborate with circuit designers.

Responsibilities

• Execute full-custom analog/mixed-signal layout from schematic to manufacturable layouts.
• Develop optimized floorplans, placement, and routing balancing area and parasitics.
• Close DRC/LVS/ERC/DFM/Antenna and ensure tight layout verification closure.
• Support post-layout extraction and SPICE/EM simulations; contribute automation scripts.
